The number a capper posts and the number you can actually get are rarely the same. We capture both — with the book’s built-in cut removed so it’s a fair comparison — so the gap between the official record and what a follower could really get is visible, never hidden.

Everyone in every picks server has said "the line moved before I could bet." Nobody had ever published the data. So we measure it directly — the first credible public look at how much of a posted edge is still attainable minutes later.

We capture the pick at the exact second it posts (T0), snapshot every major US book, then re-snapshot at 30s, 2m, 5m and 15m. Posted price minus what's still available is the slippage.
A record measured at posted prices can look excellent while the attainable record — what a follower could actually get — is meaningfully worse. That distance is the official-vs-realized gap, and it's the whole game.
Every number we release shows how many picks it’s built on, the dates it covers, and the version of how we track — and we publish our own error rate. Real cross-community figures replace this preview only when pilot communities opt a period into public sharing.
A status you can check — not a badge you can buy.
When a community's own tracked record clears the publication floor and its owner opts in, that record goes public at a permanent address anyone can read, with an embeddable badge. That is RC Verified — and it's live now.
What “RC Verified” means
RC Verified means this community’s betting record is independently tracked by Ranked Cappers: every pick is timestamped when it is posted, graded against game data, and written to an append-only ledger that no one — not the community, not Ranked Cappers — can edit or delete. The community’s owner has opted in to publishing this record. RC Verified is a statement that the record is independently tracked and owner-published — it is NOT an endorsement, rating, ranking, or prediction of future results, and it does not assert the record is good or profitable.
A community can publish only once its own append-only ledger holds at least 50 graded picks spanning at least 14 days. The floor alone never publishes anything — publication always takes an explicit owner opt-in, with recorded consent, and can be withdrawn at any time.
Honesty isn't a promise here. It's the architecture.
Most "track records" are a screenshot you're asked to trust. Ours can't be edited to flatter anyone — because the mechanisms that would let it don't exist in the system.
Append-only
A correction is a new, dated row — never an overwrite. There is no delete button anywhere in the system: not for the capper, not for us.
